Rancho Hacienda Real

Food was good and so was the service! There is another Mexican restaurant in Albany that is my favorite (I’d even drive down when I moved a few hours north). However, this place is definitely a new addition to Albany and is worth eating at. It fits right in. (Can’t have too many good Mexican restaurants) No complaints! Would eat here happily again.

Definatly high end food. As it needs to be to make the price worth it. Price averages 20-30 dollars a plate. Ingredients were fresh. But care seems to be focused on the more expensive dishes. On the lower price end like nachos, the quality seemed to take a little dip. Though they were still good, they were...average. Service was outstanding. Always helpful, and on top of their work.

This place is amazing! We wanted to try it since it opened and it was a great experience start to finish. We were immediately greeted by great staff who brought us chips, salsa, and bean dip. They gave us plenty of time to lok at the menu (it is a huge menu so we appreciated this), made us a fabulous drink, and got us some great food while making sure to be sensitive to allergies!! The food was excellent with great portions. Super tender meat, all flavorful, and even great rice and beans. My favorite part was that they used the nice raw flour tortillas which elevates the experience! The staff were super friendly and attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Every server was smiling, and made our experience great. We will certainly be returning here! Thank you guys :)

Food was well prepared, cooked well for the most part and flavorful. Only issue was my chicken was overcooked and dry. The recipes are a bit plain but otherwise good.

Rancho Hacienda Real is hands down one of my favorite restaurants! The food is always incredible—my go-tos are the chicken enchiladas and chicken fajitas, which are always full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The service is just as amazing—friendly, attentive, and consistent every time. You can really feel the care from the wonderful family that runs it. Truly a gem!

Tried out the newly opened restaurant. We were very happy with the food and the drinks. The drink menu had some great options and they were made very well. The margarita flight was really good and it was nice to pick your own flavors. We ordered the Casa grill, Mexican trio, and enchiladas. They all tasted great and the house made tortillas were so good! We will go back for sure.

the place is amazing. went there for their Verde (not chili verde) and was amazing. their tortillas are good to, a bit small compared to my grandmother's. but nothing compares to grandma's cooking, lol. all food/ service/ atmosphere is beyond 5 start

What truly sets Rancho Hacienda Real apart from other Mexican restaurants in the area are their signature platters & unique seafood offerings such as octupus shrimp soup and seafood tostadas, which are not only massive, but could be shared. My personal favorite features a mouthwatering combination of seafood: shrimp & octopus a la Diablo, grilled shrimp (butterflied to perfection), and shrimp sautéed with mushrooms. At around $33, it's a steal, especially considering that the cost of octopus alone would make it difficult to replicate at home. My other favorite is the crispy fish tacos which are the best in town. Tostada Mixta also is great with an incredible amount of seafood. It’s not just the food that impresses—it's the service. From the moment you walk in, you’re treated like family. The genuine gratitude, welcoming service you receive here is unmatched, particularly for a small community like Albany. I haven’t experienced this level of hospitality anywhere else. Simply put, Rancho Hacienda Real delivers not just on flavor, but on an exceptional dining experience that leaves you feeling right at home. To top it all off every member of their family works there from the owners to their children and other relatives. Truly a family restaurant at its best!!!
